Spiders FLI

Welcome to the Spiders FLI Community!

At Career Services, we’re here to support every Spider—every story, every future. Career Services provides dedicated support to the Spiders FLI (first-generation and limited-income) community through tailored career development programming and one-on-one advising. In collaboration with SCEI, students learn to build social capital, access internship and job opportunities, and tap into the Spider Network of alumni mentors.

Key programs include cohort-based networking groups, alumni receptions, Spiders FLI drop-in advising sessions, etiquette dinners, and more. We can help you navigate our funding options, like the Career Opportunity Fund and UR Summer Fellowships, to ease financial barriers associated with your career development.

We welcome all Spiders to participate in our inclusive communities.
