Welcome Parents & Families
Your student has chosen one of the best places in the country to launch a career. Here’s how you can help and how you can encourage exploration, engagement, and confidence as they move toward life after graduation.
The University of Richmond Career Services team works with every Spider from first-year orientation through graduation and beyond. We know families play a crucial role in career development, whether as sounding boards, encouragers, and (sometimes) questioners at the dinner table.
This page will help you understand what our career center offers, what’s to expect in the current job market, and how to be the kind of support your student needs.
