Welcome to the Consulting Community!

Consultants are problem solvers. They provide the expertise to help other organizations or professionals find solutions or services that maximize profits or effectiveness. This community is designed to help you explore consulting as a career. Use this page to learn more about this industry.

Consulting recruiting timelines can vary by firm and you should explore the firms you are interested in to have the best understanding of when they recruit. Strategy Firms and Management Consulting Firms may recruit early, up to a year in advance, while others may recruit throughout the year. As you build your list of target companies explore their career pages and learn about their recruiting practices.

Consulting attracts ALL majors! Get started by making an appointment with a Career Advisor and by signing up for the Management Consulted (MC) Platform using your richmond.edu email.
