1. Create a list of 10-20 consulting firms that you are interested in learning more about: Use the Consulting Firm Directory in Management Consulted
2. Follow the firms you select on Handshake and LinkedIn
3. Bookmark the company employment page (check it weekly)
4. Network! Reach out to alumni and connections in your peer group and at consulting firms.

Consulting firms may use a variety of interview methods.  The Behavioral interview is the most common, but the MBB and other top-tier firms may use Case and Cognitive Ability Interviews as well.  Network and use the company website to determine how to prepare for an interview with your firm of interest.

Consulting recruiting timelines can vary by firm, and you should explore the firms you are interested in to have the best understanding of when they recruit. Strategy Firms and Management Consulting Firms may recruit early (up to a year in advance), while others may recruit throughout the year. As you build your list of target companies, explore their career pages and learn about their recruiting practices.
