Ways to Recruit

CAREER CONVERSATIONS

Career Conversations offer students the opportunity to talk to you through small, virtual chats on a variety of topics.

HEALTH PRECEPTORSHIPS

Are you a medical professional interested in connecting with UR students? Volunteer to be a Health Preceptor and help students obtain the contact hours and experience required for admission to health and medical graduate programs. Find out more by contacting hirespiders@richmond.edu.

INFORMATION SESSIONS & EVENTS

We offer on-campus and virtual information sessions and events for employers looking to engage with a smaller, targeted group of students. These events consist of an organized presentation or coordinated forum that Richmond students attend to learn more about an organization, employment opportunities, as well as the recruiting process and timeline.

JOB, INTERNSHIP, & GRADUATE SCHOOL FAIRS

Job, Internship, & Graduate School Fairs remain the top way to connect with Richmond students and recent graduates at large. These events provide an opportunity to showcase your organization and available full-time jobs, internships, and externships, as well as build your talent pipeline and recruit Spiders.

OFFICE HOURS

During these one-on-one informational meetings, students gain greater understanding of your industry, organization, and specific employment opportunities as well ways to develop professional skills and experience. Office Hours can complement interviews, information sessions, fair attendance, or they can be set up as stand-alone events.

ON-CAMPUS/VIRTUAL RECRUITING

Conduct on-campus or virtual interviews with Richmond students for full-time, internship, and externship opportunities. We make it easy for you to select and connect with qualified students while coordinating the logistics for you.

SPIDER SHADOWING

Want to give students an inside look at your organization or industry? Spider Shadowing let's you share your experience with students exploring careers by offering a half- or full-day shadowing at your organization.

Tag us in your opportunities via FacebookTwitter, and Instagram. Additionally, Richmond alums can join our LinkedIn group to network with students and other alums.
