    Susan received her BA in History from DePauw University. She joined University of Richmond in 2015, as Assistant to the Presidential Spouse, Dr. Betty Neal Crutcher. Susan assisted with calendar management, travel plans, background research, and organized all aspects of the (President and Presidential Spouse’s) mentoring meetings. In 2016, Susan moved to Alumni & Career Services, where she provides administrative support to the Assistant Vice President for Alumni & Career Services and Queally Center staff. 

    Prior to joining the University, Susan served as the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director/CEO of the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. For many years, Susan served in retail management in the Midwest. She opened the first Crane & Company retail store in Chicago, Illinois at Water Tower Place, and has been a gift buyer for several high-end retailers. When not working, Susan can be found on Monument Avenue walking her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels or working with various volunteer organizations.
