    Connie joined UR in October 2024 as the Sr. Manager for Communications and Programming. She comes to UR with extensive experience in integrated marketing, brand strategy, and creative development for corporations, non-profits and startups.

    Before joining the Career Services team, Connie was VP of marketing for a creative staffing agency. She previously served as marketing strategist for employer brand at CarMax. Prior to that she spent eight years leading brand strategy and communications for UMFS, a Virginia human services non-profit. Her background includes more than a decade as a recruiter, having launched creative staffing agencies in Dallas and Richmond. Connie is a graduate of the University of North Texas Mayborn School of Journalism with a B.A. in public relations.
