    Arianna Emanuel-Wright (Ari) is the Assistant Director for Alumni & Career Services at the University of Richmond. She is from Jacksonville, Florida and was a student-athlete for four years at Santa Fe College and the University of North Florida. During her undergraduate studies, Ari received an Associate of Arts degree in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a Minor in Creative Writing. Ari also has a Master of Science degree and an Educational Specialist degree in Career Counseling from Florida State University, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential from the National Board for Certified Counselors. 

    Ari has general knowledge in a wide range of industries, which has helped her be effective in providing individual and group career advising and career counseling services to undergraduate, graduate students, alumni, and community members. Prior to Richmond, Ari served as a Career Advisor for two years at Florida State University and served as a Pre-Health and STEM Career Advisor for a year at Virginia Commonwealth University where she utilized the components of Cognitive Information Processing theory and Solution-Focused theory in her daily interactions with advisees.

    Ari has taught multiple career development courses for first-year students and is a member of the National Career Development Association (NCDA) and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). In her free time, Ari enjoys traveling, watching movies, writing poetry, and coaching basketball to youth.
