How to Unsubscribe from SpiderConnect

Note: You will still receive email notifications regarding events you are registered for, even if you're unsubscribed. 
  1. Log on to SpiderConnect. Your student account login is your UR NetID and password. For assistance, contact the IS Help Desk at (804) 287-6400.
  2. Click "My Account"
  3. Click "Notifications/Privacy"
  4. Click the "Academic" tab
  5. Choose "No" for the "Receive Email in Regard to Newsletters or Job Blasts" form
  6. Click "Save Changes"

How to Update Distribution List Preferences

Note: The distribution lists within SpiderConnect allow us to send tailored programs and opportunities specific to certain industries.
  1. Log on to SpiderConnect. Your student account login is your UR NetID and password. For assistance, contact the IS Help Desk at (804) 287-6400.
  2. Click "My Account"
  3. Click "Notifications/Privacy"
  4. Click the "Personal" tab
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page to "Career Services Email Distribution Lists"
  6. Check the boxes beside the distribution lists you are interested in receiving information for and click "Save Changes." If you are no longer interested in a distribution list, uncheck the box and click "Save Changes."
