Network with Students

The key to successful recruiting the University of Richmond is building and maintaining a strong presence on campus. There are a variety of ways to maintain visibility for your organization and connect with students on campus. Use the following marketing avenues to expand your brand on campus and educate students about your organization.

Information Sessions and Tables

Network with students face-to-face and teach them more about your organization and the opportunities you have available by hosting an information session or table. Information sessions and tables can compliment on-campus interviews or career fair attendance, or you can set them up as stand-alone events. Career Expos

Each year, our office hosts and participates in numerous career expos. These events act a networking tool for both employers and students, and allows you to showcase your organization and available opportunities. See a list of upcoming expos.

Social Media

Follow the Career Services Facebook or Twitter pages to share information, videos, and pictures. Richmond alumni can join our University of Richmond Career Connections LinkedIn group to network with students and other alums.

Advertise with Student-run Media

Purchase an advertisement in the University's student newspaper, The Collegian, or the student magazine, The Forum.

Student Organizations

Contact relevant campus-wide student organizations with your information. Please be sure to carbon copy hirespiders@richmond.edu on any correspondence with student groups. If you would like to formally patner with a student group on a particular event, please coordinate logistics and scheduling through Sarah Kuhn at (804) 289-8139 or skuhn@richmond.edu.
